About Sonnie's Salon

Myself (Dee) and my sister Louise have spent our lives in the corporate world, and while we may not be spring chickens anymore, we have plenty of passion! 

In March last year, we received the heartbreaking news that our Dad, 'Sonnie', was diagnosed with cancer. He was as tough as old boots before his urgent operation, but after nearly losing him several times, we realized that life is for living and happiness is essential. 

Fortunately, we both share a deep love for dogs! I am Dog Mum to Reggie, Frankie & Pebbles who are my world.

Louise frequently dog-sits her children's furry friends too! 

After what we endured with our Dad, we both envisioned a life dedicated to working with dogs daily. It's PAWFECT! 

Dad has always had a passion for farming, despite his cancer battle, he and his brother have welcomed nearly 50 new baby lambs this year, treating them like pets. Inspired by this, we aim to provide expert dog care in our own unique way! 

I am now a qualified Dog First Aid Instructor and we are both training to become dog groomers every Saturday while juggling full-time jobs (thanks to our Dad's work ethic!). 

We plan to open our dog grooming salon early next year on a part-time basis and would love for you to register with us at info@sonniessalon.co.uk 💕. 

This is our DREAM, and we are dedicated to making it a reality for 'Daddy Sonnie'.
